The CEO of the Los Cinco Soles group, Luis de Sousa Marques revealed that the group now has confirmed four new projects by 2017, half in the real estate and hotel business. Of these four projects, the largest investments relate to a new restaurant in Montevideo (Uruguay), and the new hotel in Atlantida (Uruguay), scheduled to open in 2015 and late 2016, respectively.
The group has plans to open a high end restaurant, and presently exploring the best option to purchase the building for the project implementation, in the prime area of Montevideo.
Their new real estate project in Canelones (GREEN VALLEY GOLF & SPA RESORT), will soon start the beginning of construction of the 1st phase with 32 luxury villas on a international standards golf course (18 holes).
Now the hotel, a component of this project in Atlantis (Uruguay), his construction should take about a year and a half (calculation of the chief executive), and has plans to open in "soft opening" (pre-opening phase) in 2016 there for October, followed by the current input operation in November. "It may be a unit that much wills the hotel in Uruguay and particularly in Montevideo area," he said.
Another new project is located in Maldonado with the purchase of a 271ha farm in the hills of Cañas (approx. 30 kms from Punta del Este). APISIS S.A. announced that is closing final negotiations for a commitment of USD 15 million in financing from Euro Brazil Investments, SA of Luxembourg City, Luxembourg for their Project of a Private Golf & Equestrian Luxury Condominium, Hotel & Spa in Uruguay.
