Luis de Sousa Marques has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry in America and Europe with many famous international players. Previously with AmaWaterways, he was the General Hotel Manager in charge of the operations in the Rhone River in France. Prior to that, he worked in America and Portugal in senior management positions responsible for partner relationships, operations and customer services with Celebrity Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines and SLHW. His solid experience in the hospitality industry also includes work portfolio in Spain and Switzerland. He has received numerous awards and honors during
his career, including the Starring Crew Award from Celebrity Cruises.
He founded Los Cinco Soles, overseeing all daily operations for the region and internationally, including business development, strategic planning and client relations. A travel and adventure enthusiast, Mr. Sousa Marques is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University (USA), holding an MBA in International Hospitality Management, Business Administration and Operations.
